Poroshenko met with Polish President Duda: emphasized the preservation of sanctions against Russia

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held negotiations with President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

Note that President Petro Poroshenko is on a working visit in Germany from February 17 to participate in the 53rd Munich conference on security issues.

In addition to meeting with Andrzej Duda, is also scheduled to meet Poroshenko with the Vice-President of the United States Mike Pence and Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg.

Recall that at the conference in Munich, Vice-President Mike Pence said that the world needs to engage Russia accountable for the events in the Donbasand the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

At the same time, Chancellor Angela Merkel called on NATO to increase its military presence in Eastern member countries of NATO. According to her, NATO’s role in Europe increased after the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
