Firtash was released from custody and ordered not to leave the country
Today, February 24, the Vienna regional court dismissed the Prosecutor’s request to leave under a deportation arrest of Dmitry Firtash. This is stated in the official message of the court.
The judges noted that a Deposit of 125 million euros, made in 2014, is still in court, therefore he cannot be detained. Firtash was ordered to appear regularly in court, not to leave the country and surrender his passport, as it has already been solved before in connection with the Spanish request for the arrest.
Court conditions and the guarantee shall remain valid until the deportation of Dmitry Firtash in the USA.
