Lutsenko commented on the desire to recover Shokin to the post of Prosecutor General

Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko commented on the desire of ex-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin to be reinstated.

About this Lutsenko said at a briefing today, UNIAN reports.

“We live in a free democratic country and every person who is retired and has a lot of time can go to court,” – said Lutsenko.

He added that now he has a lot of plans for the completion of initiated cases.

“I’m not going to leave this post, but certainly won’t hold it… I’m not going to engage in any schemes regarding this post. I want to work and give the result. All the talk about some political changes agreed to “top”, this is nonsense. Introduce yourself to someone for any other political office without the completion of cases here, I can not”, – assured the attorney General.
