Gontareva discussed with Poroshenko’s candidacy successor three months ago
The head of the NBU Valery Gontareva said that he had discussed the candidacy of a possible successor to her post by President Petro Poroshenko.
She said this today, April 10, at a press conference.

“The President said three months ago that I see a possible candidate. So today we will have no speculation on my part. I recommendations given. This decision of the President, which candidate he will submit to the Verkhovna Rada. Let’s wait for his decision. I hope it will be soon”, – said Gontareva.
She also said that for a long time informed the IMF of its decision to resign from the post of head of the NBU.
“I can’t say that they were happy”, – said Gontareva.
Earlier it was reported that Gontareva has submitted a letter of resignation of 10 may to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
