Kyiv authorities have appealed the lifting of the ban on the sale of alcohol at night
The Metropolitan government appealed the decision of the Economic court of Kyiv, which ordered the city Council to cancel the decision to ban the sale of alcohol, low alcohol drinks at night.
It is reported the KSCA, with reference to the head of the KSCA Vladimir Bondarenko.
“Court decisions are taken in the Name of Ukraine. The court decision entered into legal force are obligatory for execution. The city Council today lodged an appeal. We will fight to the end! Will enter into force the decision – will perform. But the abolition of the restriction of sale of alcohol from 23:00 to 10:00 don’t believe it! I am convinced that such a decision certainly not to the benefit of the city!” he says.
Bondarenko said that the court cancelled the decision of the city Council.
“Actually, this is another manipulation of the would-be businessmen. According to the decision, the court ordered the Kyiv city Council to stop violation of the legislation on protection of economic competition by cancelling the solution from 22.09.2016 No. 19/1023 “On restriction of sale of alcoholic, low alcohol beverages and beer in stationary objects of trade in the city of Kiev.” Previously, the city Council is obliged to make and the Kyiv regional territorial office of AMKU. But as of this time, the decision of the Council on the restriction of sale of alcohol from 23:00 to 10:00 is valid,” said the official.
