Manafort plans to register in the US Department of justice as a foreign agent
The former head of presidential campaign of Donald trump by Paul Manafort plans to register in the U.S. Department of justice as a foreign agent.
This was stated by his spokesperson Jason Maloney, writes Reuters.
Maloney recalled that Manafort finished work of foreign client long before he started to work at trump.
“Before the elections in 2016 Manafort discussed with the Federal authorities the desirability of registration under FARA (the law on the registration of foreign agents – ed) some of his previous political works,” said Malone.
