Ukraine will ban the import of Russian coal and will bring us
The Ministry of energy and coal industry initiates a ban on the import of Russian coal, and in return offers to import coal from the United States.
This was stated by the head of Department Igor Nasalik, reports Еспресо.TV.
“The Ministry submitted to the Cabinet documents that prohibit the importation from the Russian side the energy of the group of coal,” he said.
According to the Minister, today Ukraine expects to sign a contract for the supply of anthracite coal from the United States.
“It is beneficial for logistics, we win about 60% of the logistics from there, plus there’s now an interesting price. They told us that now is ready to give 300-350 thousand tons a month this year 3,5-4 million tons. If we agree this contract, we will not need all the others,” he said.
