Tobacco monopoly “Tedis” paid to the budget the largest fine in the history of the AMC
Tobacco monopoly “Tedis Ukraine” (till 2016 – LLC “Trade company” Megapolis-Ukraine “- approx.ed.) paid 300 million hryvnias of a penalty in the Ukrainian state budget.
This was announced on his page on Facebook, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.
“Today there is a court-sanctioned searches of company executives “Tedis”. Only that the firm has paid the largest fine in the history of the Antimonopoly Committee. UAH 300 million transferred to the state budget of Ukraine”, – he stressed.

According to Lutsenko, the Prosecutor’s office received the documents on the beginning of the change process, the beneficiaries of the company “Tedis” – citizens of the Russian Federation.
As assured by the public Prosecutor, now criminal proceedings are ongoing.
Earlier, law enforcement authorities announced the exposure of a scheme company “Megapolis”, which is the cigarette monopoly of Russia Igor Kesaev for 5 years evaded taxes and illegally funneled billions of hryvnia abroad, including to Finance terrorism in Donbas.
Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko said that in the post-Soviet space was created an artificial monopoly of the Russian oligarch and Ukraine in a competitive market died before 2012.
