Lavrov and Klimkin synchronously will visit the United States
Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin at the beginning of may will visit the USA with working visit.
Lavrov will travel to USA on may 9-11.
This reports the press service of the Ministry.
The Russian diplomat will hold talks in Washington with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, during which it is expected to exchange views on key international issues and topical issues of bilateral relations.

The press service of the U.S. Department of State savii that the parties will discuss Ukraine, Syria and bilateral relations. “On Ukraine the parties will discuss the need to end the violence in Eastern Ukraine and resolving conflict through full implementation of the Minsk agreements”, – stated in the message.
Tillerson intends to discuss with Lavrov efforts to de-escalate the violence in Syria and provide humanitarian assistance to the people of this country, and also to prepare the ground for a political settlement of the Syrian conflict.
Then Lavrov will attend a Ministerial meeting of the Arctic Council in Fairbanks.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin will pay a working visit to the United States on may 8-10. About reports a press-Department service.
And the purpose of the visit ukrainsko Minister – participation in the meeting of the core group of the Munich conference on security, during which he will discuss with the participants contemporary security situation in Eastern Ukraine and its impact on the security of Europe as a whole.
During the visit, also planned a number of bilateral meetings with other participants and us senior officials to discuss current bilateral and international issues.
