Zero customs tariffs for honey and fertilizers: the EP has provided trade preferences to Ukraine

The European Parliament voted to give Ukraine temporary Autonomous trade preferences outside the scope of the provisions of deep and comprehensive free trade area.

The legislative resolution was supported by 475 deputies, 102 were against and 61 abstained.

According to the document, additional trade preferences for Ukraine include introduction of zero customs tariffs for some agricultural products and industrial goods. This, in particular, oats, honey, corn, and 23 of the industrial commodities, including fertilizers, shoes, some metals and electronic equipment.

At the same time, the final content of the decision will be worked out in negotiations between the European Parliament, the European Commission and the EU Council.

We will remind, in the summer can make an agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Canada: for Ukrainian exporters, the canadian open 98% of their market products.
