Reva told how the increase in minimum payout affect Pension Fund

After increasing from January 1, 2017, the minimum wage Board to 3200 UAH to the Pension Fund received UAH 11 billion.

This was stated by Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva, reports espresso.

“When we first raised the salaries, in five months, we have seen how the increase in the wage Fund went contributions to the budget and Pension Fund. I want to report that in five months additionally, the excess plan, the Pension Fund received 11 billion hryvnia,” – he said.

Reva also noted that having such a resource, we can talk about pension modernization.

“In January we would could not do because we didn’t have the money. But with the way we have rising wages, there is this resource,” said Minister of social policy.

We will remind, the international monetary Fund and the world Bank expressed its support to the government bill on reforming the pension system, which was developed in the Ministry.
