Militants continue to violate the agreement on de-escalation of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. The situation in the ATO area remains tense, but controlled by Ukrainian soldiers. Coastal areas.
In this area the contact line today recorded the highest number of violations by fighters of the regime of non-use of weapons. In the morning around 6.00 hours illegal armed groups carried out heavy shelling of Ukrainian positions in the area of Lebedinsky mortars of caliber of 120 mm automatic mounted grenade launchers. Subsequently, several of the enemy’s mines of the same caliber exploded near the Ukrainian strong point near the Water. From small arms and grenade launchers of various modifications of a band repeatedly throughout the day shelled fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders near Chermalyk, Shirokino, Pavlopol, Talakovka, Novotroitsk, Starohnativka, Maryinka and Glorious. In addition, near Chermalyk mercenaries fired anti-tank missile system, according to the defenders of Marinka – from APCS and Ukrainian soldiers who hold the Fort near Novomikhailovka, anti-aircraft guns.
The direction of Donetsk. Most of the attacks the enemy made in the suburb of Avdeevka. On that site, as well as in the area Verhneuralskogo, Sand and Questionnaires, the militants used rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms. The positions of the ATO forces near Luhansk, on the arc Svetlodarsk, the bandits fired from APCS and infantry weapons.
Lugansk direction. On this front the situation has stabilized. However, Pro-Russian gangs continue from time to time to apply the Minsk agreements prohibited weapons. In particular, at the beginning of the day, the enemy fired several mines of calibre of 120 mm and 82 mm on the Ukrainian positions near Katerinovka. Also in the morning of 82-mm mortars gangs fired in the area of Novoaleksandrovka.

Earlier it was reported that on Wednesday, June 8, Lugansk terrorists made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian military near the village of Zhelobok. At least 11 fighters of “LNR” were killed. At the same time, the militants had distributed information about the alleged beginning of the offensive of the Ukrainian forces in the area of the Groove. Later, the press service of ATO denied the rumors.
