Ukraine has increased the average size of pension
The average pension in Ukraine in may increased to 1879 UAH 35 kop. an Increase of different amounts touched 8.2 million pensioners.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund Vladislav Mashkin, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“From may 1 this year in accordance with the law on the state budget were made recalculation of pensions taking into account the increase of the subsistence minimum for persons incapacitated. As a result, pension recalculated and got a raise 8.2 million pensioners, the average pension increased to 1879 hryvnia 35 kopecks,” – said Mashkin.

During January-may, the Pension Fund has financed the expenditures in the amount of 101.7 billion, excluding 10.4 billion UAH, which were funded in December 2016 for the payment of January pensions.
“The budget of the Pension Fund in January-may of the current year from all sources came to 103.7 billion, of which own revenues 58.6 billion UAH, which is 14.5 billion UAH more in comparison with the corresponding period of 2016,” said Mashkin.
