NABU revealed “amber scheme” involving MPs Rosenblatt and Poles
Director of the NABU Sytnyk June 20 during a press briefing disclosed a scheme for the extraction of amber, to say nothing of the people’s Deputy from BPP Boryslav Rozenblat and the MP from the “people’s front” Maxim Polyakov.
According to the head of the Bureau, referred to the scheme under the guise of reclamation of Zhytomyr region planned actual amber extraction and subsequent implementation through an offshore company where the founder was the sister of Rosenblatt.
The amount of bribes received in the said case is more than 300 thousand hryvnias.
“As I said, 15 thousand dollars was received for the registration of people’s deputies of draft laws and amendments to existing bills. The remaining amount of funds were received, including 200 thousand dollars, yesterday, June 19, in fact, the influence of MP on a number of officials and state bodies for project reclamation,” – said Sytnik.

Currently, the case is declared a message on suspicion six persons: two security guards of the people’s Deputy, one assistant, three representatives of interfractional Deputy Union “Deputy control”.
“And currently, representation on removal of immunity of people’s deputies of Rosenblat and Polyakov, the General Prosecutor’s office sent to the attorney General. I hope the attorney General will promptly react to these letters and, accordingly, will direct the presentation to Parliament, because we have not much time. The evidence collected. They are collected in the framework of secret investigative actions and vowels investigative actions”, – said Sytnik.
The head of the Bureau noted that the operation lasted just under a year and a bribe in 300 thousand peredavali in several stages.
“It’s all fixed. These materials will be provided to the Committee if the General Prosecutor’s office will sign these representations and later at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada”, – said Sytnik.

We will remind, on June 19, detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine detained the security guard of the people’s Deputy from BPP Borislav Rosenblatt during receiving a bribe of 200 thousand dollars. The people’s Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko claimed that co-defendant Rosenblatt received money for the solution of a question on licensing of production of amber.
The politician has called the accusations against his security guard provocation.
“He foisted a bag or something and said give it to me. Then came the representatives of NABOO. My point is this is a provocation. With it, planned it long ago. It is seen that someone is working in good faith to try to discredit me. At first I wanted to blame the fact that I don’t pay taxes, but found no evidence, and now this,” said Rosenblatt.
Deputies Borislav Rosenblatt and MP from Narrante Maxim Polyakov I want to strip immunity – they both appear in amber. The corresponding representation is already prepared.
