Poroshenko assured that there is no need to change the Minsk format
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he sees no need to change the Minsk format to resolve the situation in the Donbas.
The head of Ukrainian state said after the results of the first official meeting with the leader of the United States Donald trump during communication with the media.
“I don’t see this (change the format of the Minsk – ed.) is Necessary,” he said, commenting on the possibility of changing the Minsk format.
“The United States is our partner. We are very interested in attracting US to the active process “, – he said and recalled that the United States is a country of the guarantor under the Budapest Memorandum.
“Today’s meeting confirms the importance of Ukraine to the United States and a strong commitment to the support of our state”, – said Poroshenko.
