The European Union has assured to extend sanctions against Russia

President Petro Poroshenko said that the European Union assured the extension of sanctions against Russia.

It is reported by Interfax.

“Evidence that sanctions will be extended, is something we are happy today,” he said during a joint statement with President of the European Council Donald Tusk in Brussels.

He recalled that the United States imposed sanctions and confirmed that they “remain in effect until full implementation of the Minsk agreements”.

Poroshenko also stressed the importance of coordination with its Western partners on the issue of sanctions against Russia.

Recall that U.S. sanctions against Russia will be extended. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko while interacting with media after meeting at the White house with the leadership of the United States.

He is also the owner of several restaurants in Moscow.
