Today, July 4, the European Parliament will decide whether to grant trade preferences to Ukraine.

Deputies should discuss previous agreements between Kyiv and the EU Council, the European Commission and the relevant Committee of Parliament. In particular, we are talking about increasing quotas for duty-free import of Ukrainian honey, tomatoes, wheat and corn.
If the members of a positive vote for a preference, the final approval should be back to the Council of the European Union and will be valid for three years. For Ukraine, it would mean an additional budget of almost $ 200 million.
