Hackers caused keberadaan one third of Ukrainian banks, NBU
In the past cyber attacks virus Petya.A problem in their work felt one-third of Ukrainian banks. Therefore, the financial institution will strengthen information security and co-operation in combating cyber threats.
“Today, all these banks have minimised the impact of the actions of intruders, and almost fully resumed its work in regular mode”, – noted in the national Bank.
Because of cyber attacks, the regulator has imposed a state of emergency in selected banks.
Among the reasons that led to the damage of information and computer networks from cyber attacks affected banks, Deputy Director of the security Department NBU Anton Kudin called formal relationship to the organization of the system of information security management, and formal fulfillment of the requirements of the regulator in this area.
Earlier, the UN has assured that the money was not the main motive of mass hacker attacks.
