GPU reported about suspicion Chernovetsky
The Prosecutor General’s office announced on suspicion of abuse of power or official position, the former mayor of Kiev Leonid Chernovetsky. This is stated in the message of the GPU is published on the website.
We are talking about the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal construction of the facility engineering and transport infrastructure (helipads) on Park road in Kiev. According to the GPU, Chernivtsi Kiev have caused losses totaling more than 250 million UAH.
“It is established that as a result of illegal actions of Chernovetsky, who acted in the interests of unascertained at present, persons from the entourage of Viktor Yanukovych, who expressed in illegal withdrawal, change of purpose and transfer of valuable land in lease for the construction of the so-called helipad on Park road in Kiev, the underestimation of rent for the land, and as a consequence the destruction of the archaeological heritage than the territorial community of Kyiv suffered damage totaling more than 250 million UAH”, – said in the message.

Currently, the Department on investigation of crimes committed by criminal organizations, the GPU is pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal construction of the facility engineering and transport infrastructure on the grounds of criminal offenses under part 5 St. 191 part 5 of article 298, article 356,part 1 of article 358, part 2 St. 364, part 2 of article 364-1, part 3 of article 368-4 of the criminal code.
