Klitschko said that no obligation to lift the ban on night sale of alcohol
The Supreme economic court took a decision to ban the sale of alcohol in night-time in favor of the Metropolitan government. So the decision was interpreted by the head of Department of legal support of activity of the Kyiv city Council Vladimir Sloncek.
“We won the case. The decision was made in our favor, and we are not obliged to lift the ban on selling alcohol at night time”, – quotes his quote “Interfax-Ukraine”.

In the anti-monopoly Committee and the decision of the Supreme economic court interpreted very differently. In Kiev the management of the AMC indicated that the court ruled the city Council “to stop the violation of legislation on protection of economic competition, which has resulted in the decision about restriction of sale of alcoholic, low alcohol beverages and beer in stationary objects of trade.”
That is, the Ministry took the decision as a commitment to the lifting of the ban on the sale.

As previously reported, the decision to ban the sale of alcohol and soft drinks spread on the sale of alcohol in establishments of retail trade in the night – from 23.00 to 10.00 – and not attached to restaurants and entertainment.
The mayor of Kiev on issues of improvement Dmitry Belotserkovets said that the city Council will not cancel the prohibition of sale of alcohol at night, despite the recognition of unlawful decisions of the Antimonopoly Committee.
