The court extended the five ex-Berkut officers arrest

Sviatoshynskyi court extended all five of the former Berkut officers in the case of the shootings on Instytutska 20 February 2014 detention until 29 September.

Lawyers of ex-fighters of the Kiev regiment “Berkut” insisted that their clients need to release from custody because they are “moral people”. Ex-Berkut officer Zinchenko called their detention “politically motivated case”.
