Ukraine slightly increases gas production
During the first seven months of this year Ukraine increased its own production of gas by 3.2% (372,3 million cubic meters) compared with the same period of 2016 to 12 billion cubic meters of 43.9 million.
This is according to “Ukrtransgaz”, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
Gas production of PJSC “Ukrgasdobycha” amounted to 8 billion 776,5 million cubic meters (plus 3% to January-July 2016), PJSC “Ukrnafta” – 694,1 million cubic meters (minus 9.2 percent), other companies – 2 billion 573,3 million cubic meters (plus 7.9%).
In July 2017, gas production amounted to 1 billion 745,8 million cubic meters.
Recall, natural gas production in Ukraine in 2016 increased by 0.5% (91,1 million cubic meters) compared to 2015 year – on-year to 19 billion 987,1 mln cubic meters.
In General, last year Ukraine consumed 33.2 bln cubic meters of gas last year to 33.8 billion cubic meters. Ukraine gas exports from European countries, as well as a reverse – Russian production from Europe.
