Poland’s foreign Ministry accuses Russia of provoking the conflict in the Donbas
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski stressed that in Ukraine there is no “crisis” and continues the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which has caused Russia.
He told about it in interview to the edition “Kommersant”.
“No such thing “crisis in Ukraine”. There are Russian-Ukrainian conflict, caused by Russia. And we will strive to contribute to its resolution. But of course, we’re not going to do something by themselves: everything depends on the willingness of Russia and Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreements, as well as from participants in the “Normandy format”, – he said.
According to the Minister, now Russia does not agree with the monitoring mission on the border and continues to support the separatists in the Donbass. Therefore, across the border can freely go military traffic, including weapons, ammunition and personnel.
Waszczykowski believes that the conflict is of low intensity, but it cannot be frozen because of the constant obscurely and victims.
“According to our data, basic attacks are carried out by separatists, supported by Russia,” – said the Polish Minister.
In addition, during the interview Waszczykowski opposed to the term “militia” used by the journalist during the interview.
“I have to touch you use the term “militias” once again I want to emphasize that it is the separatists, because how else to call people who oppose the legitimate government?”, he added.
