Ukraine vyborola free trip to Europe and will become a member of the EU and NATO – Poroshenko
President Petro Poroshenko assured that Ukraine will become a member state of the European Union and NATO.
He stated this during a ceremony of raising the national flag on Sophia square in Kyiv.
“Consistently working, we will bring those days, when in the future Ukraine will become a member of EU and NATO member”, – he stressed.
As noted Poroshenko, the Ukrainian diplomat won a difficult fight with the Russian agents who tried to disrupt the ratification of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
“On 1 September, just a week, the agreement comes into force in full. Please note, as our flag fits adjacent to the flag of the European Union. 2.5 months ago we got the opportunity to free travel in Europe by implementing all the necessary reforms,” the President added.
We will remind, on the Independence Day in Kiev held a military parade. The Cabinet of Ministers in preparation and celebration of the 26th anniversary of Independence has approved the plan of festive events.
In particular, the plan provides for the holding of the military parade on Kreshchatik street in Kiev and to promote the national project “Ukrainian song” in Lviv.
It will also be ensured creation of rich media, educational, cultural projects, meetings, diplomatic receptions and honoring the memory of heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence. The action plan has been developed for the fulfillment of the decree of the President members of the organizing Committee, formed by the decision of the Cabinet.
In the celebrations on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine will take part in the military units from about 10 NATO countries.
