Ukraine is ready to give a tough military resistance in the event of a Russia – Poroshenko
President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine is ready to give a tough military rebuff to the aggressor if he attempts to go on the offensive.
The President said during a speech at the military parade on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to the President, Ukraine is looking for and finds an asymmetrical and effective solutions to the long historical perspective, to restrain the Russian army – the largest in Europe and third in the world.
“Ukraine is ready to give a tough military rebuff to the aggressor if he attempts to go on the offensive. But we proceed from the priority of peaceful, diplomatic, political and legal path to return to the Donbass and Crimea”, – said Poroshenko.
The President also noted that since the beginning of Russian invasion in Ukraine has already killed more than 10 thousand military. “In total, more than ten thousands of Ukrainian lives on the conscience of the Kremlin. Century will not forget, and never forgive. And anybody!” – said the head of state.
