The Cabinet approved the financial plan “Ukrzaliznytsi”. What will happen to passenger and cargo rates
Since October 1 tariffs for freight transport by rail will increase by 22.5%. Ticket prices for passengers this year will not be increased.
This is stated in the financial plan “Ukrzaliznytsi“, which is today, September 13, approved by the Cabinet.
The document stipulates that the carrier for the year will get a net profit at 62.9 million.
“Ukrzaliznytsya” plans in 2018 for the development of railway infrastructure to attract 184 million USD for the realization of infrastructure projects on the electrification of heavy-traffic areas, reconstruction of track and replacement of the devices motion control.
Earlier it was reported that the railroad will increase salaries by a third and pay a “13th salary”.
