We were visited by the auditor. In Kiev, the first Deputy head of the IMF

Came to Kiev the first Deputy managing Director International monetary Fund David Lipton.

During a meeting with Ukrainian officials, he will discuss the issue of implementation of reforms and the further financing of Ukraine. This was reported in the IMF office in Ukraine, reports “UKRINFORM”.

Tonight is scheduled to meet Lipton and Director of the European Department at the IMF’s Paul Thomsen with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.

Lipton will be in Ukraine until Thursday.

We will remind, in the beginning of 2015 year, the IMF Board of Directors approved the granting Ukraine a $ 17.5 billion under the new eff (Extended Fund Facility, EFF). Ukraine has already received more than half of this amount. New tranches of the loan will be possible under condition of implementation of Kiev reforms.

A month ago Ukraine transferred to the IMF a large amount of debt on the previous loan.
