Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy has signed the law on education in Ukraine.

He said this at a briefing in Parliament on Tuesday, reports channel “24”.

The head of BP noted that the law will help to reform the education system, created in Soviet times.

Parubiy added that the law provides for the right of education in native language to members of national minorities and indigenous peoples, but the language of instruction in Ukrainian public schools is the state.
