Ukraine will first host the NATO parliamentary Assembly – Gerashchenko
In Ukraine will be held parliamentary Assembly of NATO. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Assembly in Bucharest on 8 October.
This was announced by MP, Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko.
The event is scheduled for 2020.
“Just got a text from the Chairman of our parliamentary delegation to NATO PA, MP Iryna Friz with important and wonderful news. For the first time in 2020, Ukraine will host the NATO parliamentary Assembly”, – wrote Gerashchenko in Facebook.
We will remind, earlier the President Petro Poroshenko assured that Ukraine will become a member state of the European Union and NATO.
“By working hard, we’re going to bring those days, when in the future Ukraine will become a member of EU and NATO member”, – he stressed.
