In Ukraine, a spike in the price of greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes
In Ukraine, the prices of greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes. Compared to last year the price of vegetables increased by one-third.
This is stated in the plot program “snidanok z “1+1”.
Wholesalers ask for a kilo of cucumbers from 18 to 21 UAH and the price of tomatoes ranges from 18 to 24 UAH.
In the near future their prices will rise, since the high season ends. Importers are in no hurry to import vegetables from abroad. For example, Turkish tomatoes are still unable to compete with the Ukrainian because the price of tomatoes is much higher.
