Elections in Austria: Poroshenko congratulates Kurz on the victory
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated Sebastian Kurtz on his election victory in Austria.
This is stated in the Facebook President.
“The victory of Sebastian Kurz and the people’s party in Austria – a victory of man, which repeatedly visited Ukraine and knows the Ukrainian theme. It is also a victory of a staunch European who knows the importance of a consolidated EU for peace on the continent,” – said Poroshenko.

“Knowing that ahead of the Chancellor Kurz long coalition negotiations, however, convinced that a United Europe, European values are important for the new government,” he added.
Recall that the favorite of the election race is considered to be conservative Austrian people party (ANP) headed by the candidate on a post of the Chancellor, the acting Minister of foreign Affairs Sebastian Smoker.
