In the near future on the streets of the capital will additionally install 3 thousands of surveillance cameras. Now they are almost 5 thousand.

At the same time, the Minister of internal Affairs and the people’s Deputy Anton Gerashchenko is convinced that the cameras need to be installed in all kindergartens and schools of Ukraine.
“Every kindergarten, every school in Ukraine should be equipped with surveillance cameras. I appeal to Vitali Klitschko and all city heads and deputies of cities, towns and villages of Ukraine – do not hesitate to allocate money for video surveillance in places of stay of children. The safety of children in schools and kindergartens – this is your responsibility. Principals, teachers and parents require the mandatory installation of video surveillance from your deputies and mayors. You pay taxes to local budgets and for the account of all schools and kindergartens should be equipped with cameras in the next year or two,” – said Gerashchenko.
He also notes that “if in the garden, where he was kidnapped two-month-old girl, there would be no organized surveillance, to solve this heinous crime so fast it would be impossible.”
