NBU will not prohibit the circulation of rubles in Ukraine
The national Bank will not prohibit the circulation of rubles on the territory of Ukraine.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the national Bank Oleg Chury.
“With regard to the turnover of the Russian ruble, as you know, a few weeks ago, the NBU banned exchangers to accept rubles with the image of Ukrainian territory. This prohibition was caused by the fact that the Central Bank of Russia put into circulation a bill of 200 rubles. Now we have no plans for further prohibition of the circulation of cash Russian rubles in the territory of Ukraine”, – he said.
