Ukraine will continue to fight for the 38 political prisoners in Russia, – Klimkin
Russia is not able to withstand international pressure and therefore started to release political prisoners, first of whom were Crimean Tatars Ilmi umer and Ahtem Chiygoz. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, UNIAN informs.
According to the head of the diplomatic Department, will of the two captives of the Kremlin regime is a positive signal. “All our efforts in recent weeks and months has led to what is now Ilmi umer and Ahtem Chiygoz released from Russian prisons. And we will continue to fight for everyone who is now in Russian prisons. We still have a tremendous number 38 of our political prisoners in Russian prisons, and at the same time, more than 100 hostages in the occupied Donbas,” – said Klimkin.
