Reva told when you can actually raise the minimum wage to 4100 UAH

Raising the minimum wage in Ukraine to 4.1 ths possible by the third quarter of 2018 with the presence of economic resources.

This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva, UNIAN reports.

“Calculations show that taking into account the inflation index, inflation in 2017 and projections for the year 2018 that the cost of living must be in Ukraine hryvnia 4023. Therefore, the proposal of the President on minimum wage in 4100 hryvnia is calculated rate, calculated the minimum wage, which, according to law, should be in Ukraine in 2018,” said Reva.

In the bill on the state budget of the 2018 laid the minimum wage at the level of UAH 3723.

“At the suggestion of the Ministry recorded that at the end of the first quarter in the budget to consider a revision of this figure. The President proposes to do so not later than the third quarter of 2018, to fall. But this will be implemented if economic resources permit to do it,” – said the Minister.

We will remind, on December 4 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took the initiative to raise the minimum wage in 2018 900 UAH – from the current RS 3200 to 4100 UAH.

The amount of 3200 UAH began to operate from 1 January 2017. Before the minimum wage was two times less. Also entered into force the legislative provisions that provide for the payment of wages “in envelope” a fine of 100 minimum wages. Now it is 320 thousand UAH.
