In the Luhansk region will open another checkpoint

Luhansk regional state administration took the decision to open the checkpoint entry and exit “Golden“. It will work in test mode for two days – on 9 and 10 December.

The opening of the “Golden” due to repairs on the bridge crossing near PPC “Stanitsa Lugansk”, the press service of the Luhansk regional state administration. Thus citizens will be able to continue to move freely across the territory.

Recall that three times already, the Ukrainian side tried to open pedestrian and vehicle traffic through the “gold” in the framework of the agreements reached Tripartite contact group in Minsk. The last attempt fell on 20 October this year. However, fighters continue to abandon their duties for security and cessation of attacks in the area.

At the moment, in the Luhansk region there is only one pedestrian crossing point – “Stanitsa Lugansk” – from the temporarily occupied territories of the region.
