Klimkin told, about what spoke with Lavrov behind closed doors

In Vienna, Austria was the first in three years, a bilateral meeting of Ministers of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Russia Sergey Lavrov.

“With the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Lavrov discussed issues of exchange of hostages. Should really move forward on this issue in the coming weeks. We are talking about people and their relatives”, – wrote Klimkin Twitter.

Earlier Lavrov said that the initiator of the bilateral meeting was Klimkin. Before it was only negotiations in the “channel format” – with participation of senior officials of Germany and France.

Note that the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas, which includes representatives of Ukraine, Russia, OSCE and representatives controlled by Russia fighters, soon plans to agree on the timing, procedure and the date of the exchange of hostages. This writes UNIAN.

Earlier the leader of movement “the Ukrainian choice – the right of the people” and godfather of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin Victor Medvedchuk, who is one of the representatives of Ukraine’s sub-working group on humanitarian issues of TKG, said that the Ukrainian side is configured to the Christmas and new year holidays to implement the first stage of the exchange of hostages and detainees according to the formula 306 militants in 74 Ukrainian.
