The militants for four hours fired Ukrainian military near Avdeevka – digest ATO

Sunday, December 10, fighters continued to violate the truce in a zone of carrying out anti-terrorist operation, applying Minsk agreements prohibited weapons. Pro-Russian mercenaries precisely eight times shelled positions of the Ukrainian military, almost every time getting an adequate response from military APU.

This is stated in the summary of the press center ATO as at 18.00.

The epicenter of the tension was the direction of Donetsk, while in Luhansk has not been a single attack.

The greatest intensity of attacks was observed in the vicinity of the Town. Here fighters for four hours, beaten from different types of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, from mortars and infantry weapons the Pro-Russian mercenaries fired at positions Armed forces of Ukraine around the Sands, and rocket-propelled grenades – mine Butovka.

On the sea of Azov militants fired ten min 82-caliber defenders in Chermalyk, and 120-mm mortars and light infantry weapons fired at the defenders of Gnutovo. With grenade launchers, the mercenaries fired at the strongholds of Ukrainian troops near Shirokino, and from small arms – fortifications near Starognatovka and Marinka.

We will remind, for the last day, December 9, recorded 39 violations of the cease-fire by the invaders. In cases where the enemy fire was an imminent threat to the life and health of our soldiers, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to the enemy fire from rocket-propelled grenades, machine guns and small arms. As a result of enemy shelling none of the Ukrainian defender was not injured.
