The NAB had arrested four suspects in the theft of more than 200 million “Gosinvestproekta”
The staff of the National anti-corruption Bureau has detained 4 persons that may be involved in corruption schemes at the State Agency for investment and national projects of Ukraine. We are talking about the embezzlement of funds in the amount of 259,2 million.

“Among the detainees is former Deputy Chairman of the “state Agency for investments”, which was also the Advisor to the Director of state enterprise “State investment company”; former employee “of the state Agency for investments”; the former Director of the state enterprise “State investment company”; Director of a number of private enterprises with signs of fictitiousness”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that employees of the Bureau under the procedural guidance of the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office carried out a number of searches on the basis of which the detention occurred.

It is reported that between the state enterprise “State investment company”, “TD “Borisfen” and “Borzhava resort” for the implementation of national projects “Accno water” and “Olympic hope – 2022” was signed by fictitious transactions. Because of the impossibility of implementation of the projects, these companies retained funds in offshore accounts employees “of the state Agency for investments”.
We will remind, employees of the National anti-corruption Bureau conducted searches at the office of one of the officials of the Ministry of justice, as well as the employee Department. The Bureau noted the legality of such investigations.
The Ministry of justice of Ukraine will complain to the searches by members of the National anti-corruption Bureau in the Prosecutor General’s office and international partners.
