For Tuesday, January 2, in the area of ATO in the Donbas the militants twice opened fire at positions of the Ukrainian army.
“In Donetsk direction the enemy was shooting at positions of Ukrainian Armed forces from 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms near Verhnetoretskogo. And in the suburbs of Avdiivka, the enemy fired on our defenses from heavy machine guns. Ukrainian soldiers return fire was not opened. In other areas of our defense of ceasefire violations have been recorded,” reads the summary of the press center of staff ATO.
We will remind, on Donbass though diminished the number of attacks of militants, but the truce is still there. The leaders of the militants promised that it will come a week ago – 23 Dec. However, this has not yet happened.
