The observation mission of the OSCE recorded hundreds of explosions in the area of ATO for the new year’s weekend

In the area of the ATO for the period from 19:30 on 29 December at 19:30 on 1 January of the observation mission of the OSCE recorded 361 explosion.

This is stated in the report of the organization of 2 January.

“In the period from the evening of 29 until the evening of 30 December the SMM observed a rise in the number of violations of the ceasefire regime in the Donetsk region, including nearly 180 explosions, when compared with the previous day, when there were 36 explosions”, – said the OSCE.

Also, the office adds that PM to 30 PM on December 31 the Mission was recorded the reduction of such violations – about 90 explosions, and in the evening of December 31 till the evening of 1 January – increase of their number, when compared with the previous day, at the same time, the number of explosions recorded was little changed at 84.

“In the period from the evening of 29 until the evening of 30 December in the Luhansk region, the SMM observed a rise in the number of violations of the ceasefire, including one explosion, if you compare with the previous day when there was not one explosion,” said the observers.

The report stated that the increase in the number of explosions from evening till the evening of 30 December 31,

“The mission was recorded a further reduction in the number of such violations, however, the number of explosions has increased to 4. In the period from the evening of December 31 till the evening of 1 January the SMM observed a rise in the number of violations of the cease-fire, registering at the same time reducing the number of explosions (2), when compared with the previous day”, – the report says.

“The SMM observed in armoured combat vehicles, anti-aircraft guns and other signs of military-type equipment in the security zone. 30 December in government-controlled areas, the observers saw armored truck (BTS-5B) on the trailer platform, which moved in a northerly direction near the village of Mirnaya Dolina, and January 1 armored personnel carrier (APC) standing between the houses on the North‑Western edge of village Victory”, – said the OSCE.
