Klimkin assured that the work in the occupied Crimea Volkswagen and Adidas will be punished

Ukraine will punish the German company Volkswagen and Adidas that despite the sanctions to work in Russian-occupied Crimea.

This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in an interview with Rheinische Post.

“Every attempt to bypass that or another way the sanctions imposed in connection with the annexation of Crimea must be punished according to the law,” he said.

According to Klimkin, Ukraine is now seeking the appropriate legal mechanisms.

“We have a wide range of legal mechanisms that we can use. We are in the process of finding a balanced solution. However, I can’t disclose the details because it requires a certain confidentiality,” – said the Minister.

We will remind, security Service of Ukraine in criminal proceedings conducting an investigation regarding the possible work of German companies DHL Express, Adidas and Puma in the occupied Crimea.

In December last year, the Ministry temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine said that the company is working on anacoana Peninsula, despite the sanctions.
