Parubiy told about more than four thousand amendments to the draft Electoral Code
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Andriy paruby hopes for effective work in the preparation of the draft electoral code the second reading, which brought a record number of proposals of the MPs – 4400 amendments.
He noted the air of one of Ukrainian TV channels, UKRINFORM writes.
“I want to inform you all that as of today, filed 4 400 amendments. Let me remind you that the long bill in the history of the Ukrainian Parliament of this convocation, and for 25 years is the changes in the procedural codes to judicial reform had 3383 changes, So that our common law has reached the highest level of discussion,” – said paruby.
However, he hopes that the relevant Committee will effectively work on the bill a second reading and will give positive insights about its adoption.

Parubiy said that the draft code it is proposed to amend the laws on elections of people’s deputies, presidential and local elections.

Recall that on 7 November 2017, the VR adopted in the first reading the draft Election code, providing for the introduction of a proportional electoral system with open party lists for elections to the Parliament and change the electoral system in local elections.
