Meeting “channel four”: one Minister arrive late and the other never will

Negotiations “channel four” – the foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France – on the situation in the Donbas was postponed indefinitely. The reason is the foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, is delayed and will arrive later in Munich.

“The Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany will arrive in Munich late in the evening. I am ready to meet at least three hours a night,” said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, was quoted by “Interfax-Ukraine”.

The meeting will take place later Friday or on Saturday.

Earlier it became known that francuzkoe Minister will not come at all. Instead, there will be political Director of the foreign Ministry.

Note that in Munich Klimkin met eye to eye with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. Had to talk about the exchange of hostages and the release of political prisoners, because in Minsk, the negotiations have stalled. This is stated in the story TSN.

During a meeting in Normandy format will be discussed the security issues.

“For me the main points is, of course, safety. The situation is getting worse, more attacks. This is no coincidence. This is done intentionally to show that the situation can be controlled from the other side,” – said Klimkin.

Meeting is important and necessary, said the Ukrainian Minister, but he does not expect a breakthrough. This is partly understandable, because the French Minister there, and German is busy with the process of government formation.
