In the framework of 54-th Munich security conference , Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with U.S. Secretary of defense James Mattis.
“I am delighted with Melisa. We had a very good visit of the Minister of Poltorak in the United States,” – said Poroshenko, quoted by “European truth”.
The President assured that the talks in Munich, Germany were agreed deliveries to Ukraine lethal weapons. He said that we are talking about a wide range of items.
“We get agreed to supply not only and not so much the kind of weapons, constantly talking about (obviously, we are talking about man-portable anti-tank missile systems Javelin). But, unfortunately, uncover this information I can not” – said the head of state.
Recall that the U.S. laid its defence budget to 2018, $ 350 million in assistance to Ukraine. Recently , Ukraine has received from U.S. night vision devices by nearly $ 6 million.

In an interview with “Radio liberty” said Kurt Volker. According to him, Americans and Ukrainians are working together to transport systems and to attract them to work in the Ukrainian army.
