The Ukrainian foreign Ministry explained why Belarus can not participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbass

Belarus cannot participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas, as it is a member of the organization of Agreement on collective security.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine on European integration issues of Ukraine Elena serkal, reports news TV channel “112-Ukraine”.

“As far as I know, Belarus is not out of the CSTO and is a member of this organization. But if we exclude NATO, it is very logical that we did not say that the CSTO countries also take part in the mission,” – said zerkal.
