In the constitutional court in a secret vote elected the President
Stanislav Sevca was elected Chairman of the constitutional court of Ukraine.
It is reported by UNIAN, citing a source in the court.

The position of Chairman of the constitutional court was vacant from March 18, 2017, the expiry of the term of office of Yuri nos.
According to the regulations of the LCP, a new Chapter needed to elect, no later than two months from the day when the office of Chairman became vacant. According to article 148 of the Constitution, the CCU shall elect a Chairman from among its members at the special plenary session of the court. Now KSU has 15 judges, who are empowered to elect a new President of the court.
Shevchuk was appointed a judge of the constitutional court on a quota of the Verkhovna Rada in March 2014.
