Despite the constant provocations of the Russian Federation, Ukraine continues to make efforts to protect their own sovereignty.

He recalled the speech that Putin delivered at the Munich conference on security issues in 2007, when the Russian leader expressed the rejection of unipolarity in world politics and in fact “revealed their aggressive plans to undermine the civilized world.”

Despite the constant provocations of the Russian Federation, Ukraine continues to make efforts for the protection of its sovereignty and territorial on the basis of international law.

“We firmly believe that only through the law can cope with a regime that puts itself outside the law,” – said Yelchenko.

He recalled that Ukraine initiated the consideration of cases concerning actions of the Russian Federation in the international criminal court, the international court of justice and arbitration within the framework of the UN Convention on the law of the sea.

We will remind that earlier the Ambassador of Ukraine called on the UN security Council to take specific action regarding the peacekeepers in the Donbas.
