Germany will provide Ukraine with another 9 million euros for the construction of housing for immigrants

Housing are planning to provide to thousands of families.

Ukraine will receive 9 million euros from the German government for the construction of social housing for IDPs.

Non-repayable financial assistance will be available in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv region and in kotroliruemie Ukraine regions of Luhansk and Donetsk. This is stated in the story, progarme “snidanok z “1+1”.

It is expected that this project will help thousands of immigrants to move into new housing.

“Now Ukraine has registered nearly 1.5 million internally displaced persons. All those people lost their homes, jobs, find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The government makes significant steps to help the immigrants – creates a number of programs looking for additional funding sources, conducts integration activities creates jobs. In order to ensure appropriate living conditions for internally displaced persons on the peaceful territory of Ukraine we attract the financial resources of our foreign partners”, – said the Minister sotspolitiki Andrey Reva, quoted by the press service of the Ministry.

Recall, this is not the first German assistance for housing Ukrainian immigrants. In the framework of the current project has already opened three social hostels in Melitopol. Until the end of the year nearly 700 internally displaced persons will receive an apartment or Dorm room in 14 renovated facilities. The German contribution to this project amounts to 14 million euros.
