Militants carried out two dozen attacks.
Within Friday, April 20, in the area of ATO in the Donbas the militants fired at positions Armed forces of Ukraine 20 times.
“Unfortunately, as a result of enemy fire, one Ukrainian defender was killed. Another warrior was wounded. The injured soldier was taken to the hospital and he was given necessary medical help,” reads the summary of the press center of staff ATO.
In Donetsk direction of the reactive systems of volley fire BM-21 “Grad” militants fired at the Ukrainian positions near Lebedinsky, firing 40 rockets. Close to Lebedinsky they used 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Of 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars, the militants opened fire on the defenders of Shirokino and Water. Additionally, mortars of caliber of 120 mm, the militants used near Novotroitsk, grenade launchers and small arms near the mine Butovka, Water, Sands and Experienced, as well as small arms for the defence of the Town and Novotroitsk.
On Lugansk the direction from the forbidden 122-mm artillery was fired at Ukrainian strongholds in the area Popasnaya, from APCS under the Crimean and from small arms – near Novoluganskogo.
